I feel the need to help!

A friend of mine, posted this on another site. Some of you may know him as CNN501, here at Sportsline. I felt compelled to share this story with all my friends and hope you feel as thoughtful for this lil grl as I did and join the mission to make sure this doesnt happen to any other child.

In just a few wks...this campaign has managed to get well over 2400 signatures...I hope yours will be one more!

Thanks, Kim

Some of you may have heard the story of Skylar Brooke. For those who have not, this little girl just turned 6 months old. A few weeks ago a 18 year old man, boyfriend to this little girls mother, was watching her while her mother attended school. The police received a call about a little girl choking on a crayon. They could not find anything in her throat and she was crying so hard she almost stopped breathing. The police brought her to the hospital. There that doctors and nurses found blood in her diaper. The police went back to the house, they then found a box with 4 bloody wipes, a blood soaked towel and a used condom. Little Skyler had to have surgery to stop the bleeding. They are not sure if she will ever be the same. This man was arrested and is now in jail. He was charged with 5 felonies. We have to make sure this does not happen again. What I am asking you to do is go to this website and sign the petition asking the judge to give this sicko the max sentence. No child should ever have to endure what poor little Skyler Brooke did. Lets make sure he never has the chance to again. http://www.petitiononline.com/2394jb/petition.html Thank you for taking the time to do this. If would like any other information about this feel free to ask. There as also been a group set up to support this Mother and Child http://www.cafemom.com/group/40860 Thank you.

XLII Champions NY Giants

Wow...the underdog...not just an underdog ...but the team that no one gave the chance to even make it to the playoffs.  Going from an 0-2 start to defending the Patriots to be the Superbowl Champs is just priceless.  I'm very proud of my team...GO Giants

The Championship Playoffs

This is a bitter sweet moment for me.  Being true to my Giants that have held a place in my heart since 1989.  I was disgusted with their lack of interest in Philip Rivers and traded him for Eli Manning.  Not sure if they made the right decision, time will tell and its proving to be a hard test.  Both of these guys have been exceptionally good for the last part of the season.  Me, being a die hard NCSU fan and Philip Rivers fan...would love nothing more than to see these two square off in the ultimate battle...The Super Bowl!  Who would I choose to win?  If it were man against man, I would definitely be going with Rivers...since its not the case and you have to go for the team, it would be a tough decision to make. Will we get to see it?  I have my doubts...Either way I congratulate both teams as they seem to inch one game further to the ultimate prize...GOOD LUCK!!!
About Why Am I Here?
IDK! I ask myself that every time I post on this site...which is very rare these days! I've been a member for well over a yr. I've "met" many ppl and enjoy the intelligent post of most of the ppl on my friends list. If you're not on the list I have reason for it! I dont like to bothered with drama and ignorance, which I've found myself engaged in, a time or two. So, I've only been here to talk sports, which is the reason I came to this site to begin with. To those of you who are willing to be mature and have some morals...I invite you to share this spot with me...if not you will be quickly denied access to my personal haven... Welcome to the Wuf Zone...
